February was pretty sleepy 

The most interesting statistic are the Median Sales Prices over the last 3 years:

February 2018 $2,027,500

February 2019 $1,372,750

February 2020 $601.05 * this was a new construction townhome

Historically February in Seattle and Laurelhurst have been fairly quiet. Lots of rain, dark evenings, and in general people just don’t seem to be in the buying mindset until the days get longer. 

I am hopeful that March will bring out the spring flowers and with that more listings. The buyers are just waiting on the sidelines, as interest rates dropped again last week. Low inventory is wonderful for sellers resulting many times in multiple offers, so if you are a seller contemplating putting your home on the market this would be a perfect time.
